Book Review: The Great American Mousical

I'm a little sheepish to admit this, but I wasn't aware that Julie Andrews wrote books for children. In fact, she's been writing them for over 30 years! I saw The Great American Mousical at the public library and decided to give it a try.
I am pleased to announce to all of you who have kids and looking for new things to read that this book was great! It's a juvenile level book with a simple plot, but very entertaining nonetheless.
The cast of the Sovereign theater is busy rehearsing for the upcoming review, "Broadway Airs: A Tribute to the Great American Mousical" when disaster strikes! Suddenly, the theater is threatened with demolition and the leading lady is abducted! Can the cast and crew of the Sovereign pull off the show without their star and save their precious theater from destruction? It will take cooperation, hard work, and an unlikely hero!
Taken from the inside cover of the book, "In this loving spoof of life in the theater, we join a delightful cast, follow a daring adventure, and welcome a brave new hero. This delicious tribute to the Broadway musical is written by two bestselling authors who have firsthand experience of this much-adored world."
I hope you enjoy this fun-loving adventure!
